JUPITER AWARD FOR THE TV MOVIE «MEINE FREUNDIN VOLKER» WITH AXEL MILBERG IN THE SPECTACULAR ROLE OF DRAG QUEEN VIVIAN

On April 17.2024, the unique ARD tragicomedy “Meine Freundin Volker / My girlfriend Volker” won the Jupiter Award for Best National Television Film. Patricia Walczak created the costume design for the project. The well-known actor Axel Milberg played the remarkable role of drag queen Vivian.

The film was directed by Piotr J. Lewandowski, the make-up design by Oliver Hildebrandt. Other roles are played by Kim Riedle, Anja Antonowicz, Jacob Matschenz, Carsten Strauch and Thelma Buabeng. The project was produced by Doris Büning and Katinka Seidt / Cinecentrum / Realfilm Filmproduktion 2023.
